About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Ethnicity and Race in a Changing World: A Review Journal is an Open Access journal contributing to the academic debate into race relations. It is an international, multidisciplinary journal aimed at academics, undergraduates, postgraduates, researchers and practitioners in the field.

The journal was cancelled after Volume 5, 2014.

Peer Review Process

Submissions to Ethnicity and Race in a Changing World undergo a blind peer review process by two reviewers. We rely on experts for candid but fair advice in our review process. Referees assess the originality and the literary/scholarly merit of a submission's argument. We operate a 'single-blind' refereeing process whereby author(s) never know the reviewers' identities.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link and create non-commercial derivative to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Journal History

Ethnicity and Race in a Changing World launched as an Open Access journal in 2009 and was a collaboration between Manchester University Press and the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre.

The journal has now been cancelled and is not accepting any further submissions.
